Sokosti Chalets & Apartments are stunningly located right next to the vast Urho Kekkonen National Park - hiking trails and trails leave less than 100 meters away from your doorsteps. We got our name Sokosti from the highest fell top in the area. Other names Ukselma, Lupukka and Puilakka are also names of local fells. We offer versatile and high-quality accommodation with selected services in beautiful log buildings in the immediate vicinity of the center of Saariselkä.

You can choose either a cozy holiday apartment or a quality chalet for parties up to 20 guests. We are delighted to organize all the services, such as meals, transportation and activities according to your personal needs. If you wish to book just the accommodation, that is also possible.

Services

We can customize the services during your holiday just for you. In the chalets we can organize for you a private chef to prepare the local delicacies and in the holiday apartments we can deliver delicious breakfasts. We are also happy to organize additional services if necessary to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Catering

At Ukselma and Lupukka chalets, we recommend highly a private chef service so that you can fully enjoy your holiday.

Our skilled chefs conjure up local delicacies for lunch and dinner as well as tasty hot breakfasts. Naturally, we adapt to the different diets.

In Puilakka holiday apartments we can deliver breakfast directly to the apartment.

Excursions

There are many interesting excursion destinations in northern Lapland, such as the Sámi village of Inari and the famous and beautiful Teno River.

An exciting day trip will take you to the shores of the Arctic Ocean, where you can go fishing for the huge king crabs.

We will organize the transportation, entrances, meals and of course also local guides.

Hosting

In order to make your holiday as smooth as possible we are happy to offer housekeeping and hosting services at Ukselma and Lupukka chalets.

Refreshments, snacks and fruits to enjoy between meals.

We clean the chalets daily and if requeired we change the bed linen and towels daily.

Equipment rental

We will help you rent the necessary equipment such as mountain bikes, skis, snowshoes, thermal clothing, etc. Please contact us well in advance so we can ensure availability.

Transportation

We are happy to arrange the necessary transfers, for example from the airport to Saariselkä, as well as for various activities. This way you can enjoy your holiday to the fullest, without worrying about having to drive yourself .
